Teatro Grande: Opera and Ballet Season 2026
Culture is truly alive in Brescia: the Teatro Grande's Opera and Ballet Season returns in autumn 2026, one of the most anticipated events of the year.
It opens with Benjamin Britten's "Death in Venice", fifty years after his death, and then continues with two iconic titles such as
"Turandot" and "L'italiana in Algeri", both linked to important anniversaries.
Then there's the intensity of the veristic diptych "Cavalleria Rusticana" and "Pagliacci", before closing with "Coppélia", the classical ballet that returns to the stage after sixteen years.
A season that combines great masterpieces and less obvious choices, thanks also to the collaboration with OperaLombardia, a network that enhances the territory and new talents.
The season ticket campaign starts on May 5th, while tickets will be available from June 25th, with discounts dedicated to young people.
The curtain rises. Brescia responds.
