BiciBrescia was founded in 2022 to give a clear face to a concrete commitment:
to make Brescia an increasingly bike-friendly, safe, and livable city.
It's not enough to build bike paths. We need to change habits, culture, and our perspective on the road.
In Brescia, cycling means going to work, to school, to the market. It means crossing the city without noise, without haste, without barriers.
But it also means taking your time.
A walk in the park after dinner. A coffee downtown on Sunday morning. An ascent towards the Castle that reminds you where you are. The bicycle doesn't take up space, it gives it back.

Behind BiciBrescia there is a concrete plan, a project designed for today, and especially for tomorrow.
The Biciplan. The municipal cycling mobility plan, as required by national regulations, which defines objectives, strategies, and actions for:
increase everyday cycling
improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians
connect neighbourhoods, services and key places across the city
make cycling a key player in leisure and tourism as well
