PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Brescia's automatic light rail network connects the northern and south-eastern districts through the historic centre: a fast, sustainable and modern infrastructure that makes travel easy and efficient.
Alternatively or coincidentally, 16 bus lines, flanked by an additional summer line to Monte Maddalena, connect Brescia to the 14 neighbouring municipalities (Borgosatollo, Botticino, Bovezzo, Caino, Castel Mella, Cellatica, Collebeato, Concesio, Flero, Gussago, Nave, Poncarale, Rezzato and Roncadelle).
Bus and metro tickets - in Zone 1 for the metro and buses within the municipality of Brescia - can be easily purchased at the automatic ticket machines in all metro stations, through the free apps Bresciapp!, MooneyGo and DropTicket, through Viaggia con un Beep, the contactless purchase system with debit and credit cards present in all metro stations and on all buses, at the Tourism and Mobility Infopoints, and in authorised sales outlets.
SHARING SERVICES
Bicimia
Cycling in Brescia is practical and environmentally friendly thanks to the bike sharing service Bicimia.
The service can be accessed by heading in person to the Tourism and Mobility Infopoints, or conveniently and quickly by downloading the free Bresciapp app!
By downloading the New E-Bicimia app, users can access the electric bike-sharing service at five locations, most of them within the centre: San Faustino, FS railway station, Zanardelli, Branze and Arnaldo.
E-Scooters
At the Bike Point in Largo Formentone there is an E-Scooter Sharing service: a green, practical and affordable solution for getting around the city, even inside the ZTL limited traffic zone.
E-Automia
With Automia, Brescia's electric car sharing service, users can avail of 20 Renault Zoe city cars available at 19 city locations (38 parking spaces). The service allows access to the ZTL limited traffic zone, free parking on blue lines and the return of the vehicle at a different location.
By Train
Brescia railway station is the ideal starting point to reach nearby destinations such as Lake Garda, Camonica Valley and Lake Iseo thanks to regional and national connections.
