EDUCATIONAL ITINERARIES AND WORKSHOPS

Santa Giulia Museum

A real journey through time, leading from Roman domus and medieval frescoes, to traces of the Venetian era.

The museum offers thematic routes dedicated to prehistory, the Longobard period, the late Middle Ages and Venetian domination, enriched by creative workshops, dramatised visits and interactive activities, such as the Mythical Gardens, an open-air workshop in the Viridarium for the youngest visitors, Mission Archaeologist, an educational game for children aged 9 to 12, and the Simulated Archaeological Excavation, an immersive activity to discover the techniques of historical research.

Archaeological Park of Roman Brescia (UNESCO)

An extraordinary itinerary that includes the Republican sanctuary, the Capitolium with the famous Winged Victory of Brescia, the Roman Theatre and the UNESCO Corridor, which connects the area to the Santa Giulia complex: an itinerary that allows you to visually and physically immerse yourself in the monumental architecture of more than 2,500 years of history in a single route.

Brescia Castle

On the Cidneo Hill overlooking the city, the medieval fortress offers students an impressive experience: towers, bastions, underground passages and testimony of Roman Brescia coexist with traces of the Middle Ages and curiosities such as the 1909 locomotive, usually a favourite with children.

Inside the castle, known as the Falcon of Italy, the Museo del Risorgimento "Leonessa d'Italia" (“Lioness of Italy” Museum of the Risorgimento) proposes a multimedia itinerary designed especially for youngsters, dedicated to the epic deeds that culminated in the Unification of Italy.
