For the first time, a city entrusted an architect, Rodolfo Vantini, with the design of a complex that was not a simple cemetery, but a true monumental space. The result is a place of strong neoclassical coherence, inspired by the Greek idea of beauty and measure.

But the Vantinian is also an open-air museum. In its galleries you will find almost two centuries of Italian sculpture, from Neoclassicism to Expressionism. A continuous tale made of different works, styles, hands.

And then there's the city. Here rests the collective history of Brescia, made up of public figures and private lives that have left their mark. Walking at the Vantiniano means recognizing ourselves, understanding where we come from, and taking steps within the history of our city.
