By bike for the European Mobility Week
From September 16 to 22, the European Mobility Week returns. In Brescia, the bike is the star with events dedicated to those who choose two wheels for their daily commute.
On Friday, September 18, Bike to Work returns, the initiative dedicated to those who choose the bicycle for their home-work trips.
On Saturday, September 19 in Piazza del Mercato, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Bike Point with free Bike Check, created in collaboration with the Brescia Mobility Group and the Francesco Soldano Foundation as part of BiciBrescia and the LeXGiornate Festival, will also be active. The technicians from Brescia Mobility will be available for checks, maintenance, and minor repairs of bicycles.
On Sunday, September 20, the European Mobility Week continues in the city center with Ecological Sunday. Among the events, the Pigliatutto animates Piazza Vittoria, while Piazza della Loggia and Piazzetta Bell’Italia host One, two… TramSchool!, with games and free activities for children aged 4 and up dedicated to the future tram and sustainable mobility.
On Tuesday, September 22, at 6:00 PM, the Ghetti Municipal Library inaugurates GenerAzione BiciBrescia, the exhibition featuring about 200 drawings created by girls and boys on the theme of cycling and its benefits for health and the environment.
A week to choose the bike, take care of it, and discover the city from a different perspective.
