The route

This short route is designed to include Corridoni Park in the city’s green network. It’s a detour from the Mella cycle and pedestrian path that takes you to a slightly hidden but valuable area.

The northernmost section passes under the Western Ring Road, using an underpass. From there you reach an urban reforestation area created some years ago near the Ori Martin plant. A small journey that speaks of environmental resilience, reclaimed spaces and a Brescia that wants to enhance every patch of green.

What to see

Concrete outside, nature inside.
In the middle of a dense, asphalted neighbourhood, Corridoni Park is a breath of fresh air. You reach it from the Mella cycle path, step into the greenery and, for a moment, forget about the traffic. Then you head back towards the river, where the flowing water drowns out the noise.

Useful information

The route is not directly served by the metro, but it is easy to reach by bus. Line 16 runs along Via Del Verrocchio, while Line 11 runs along Via San Bartolomeo, a short distance from the route.
