The height of modernity. In Brescia, the future began in Piazza Vittoria. A tower that changed the city skyline.

THE TOWER

The INA Tower has dominated Piazza Vittoria since 1932. Designed by Marcello Piacentini, it is recognized as Italy's first skyscraper and, at the time of its inauguration, the tallest reinforced concrete building in Europe. A strong, vertical landmark that brought modernity to the historic heart of the city.

Over 57 meters high, with 13 floors above ground, the Torrione was part of a major urban transformation project for the square in the 1930s. The reinforced concrete structure interacts with the exposed brick, stone, and granite cladding: technical innovation and traditional materials come together in a measured and powerful balance.

The façade is punctuated by large arches and enriched with terracotta bas-reliefs depicting the work and productive activities of the area. Not just a building, but an urban manifesto: progress, identity, ambition.

Today, the INA Tower is a visual and cultural landmark.

A symbol that tells the story of how Brescia has been able to look up without losing touch with its history.
