Located in a central area of the city, just a short walk from Piazzale Arnaldo, the Sant'Afra theatre is a modern and comfortable facility ideal for theatre performances, live music, conferences and events that can be enhanced in an intimate, carefully designed space.
THE THEATER
The name alludes to the history of the old theatre of the youth centre of the parish of Sant'Afra in the nearby street of Via Francesco Crispi, which was active in the 1930s and 1940s but closed down after a bombing raid in 1943 which also destroyed the church.
The current venue revives the name of the previous theatre, renewing its spirit through a space characterised by essential lines and high-quality acoustics.
Since 2025, the theatre's management, artistic and technical direction have been entrusted to Giardino Elettriko - Arte e Cultura, a local association that offers a varied and stimulating programme of events.
An interesting port of call for discovering the Brescian cultural scene in an intimate and central setting.
