Renato Borsoni Theater

Renato Borsoni TheaterVia Milano, 83 - Brescia BS
Since 2024, the "CTB – Centro Teatrale Bresciano" has been managing a third space dedicated to live performances: the Renato Borsoni Theater, a national model of a “smart building” for the practice of fully accessible culture.
THE THEATER
Located on the site of a former factory at Via Milano 83, within an area undergoing a major urban redevelopment project, the theater was designed by architect Camillo Botticini with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, and technological innovation.
Named after Renato Borsoni, a key figure in Brescia's theatrical history, the building houses two separate halls: the Sala Castri (312 seats), dedicated to the great director Massimo Castri, and L'Isola che non c'è (169 seats), a more intimate and experimental space reserved for projects aimed at children and young people.
The structure also includes an independent dining area, offices, dressing rooms, and new outdoor spaces.
Not content with being merely a performance space, the Borsoni Theater is a cultural and social hub designed to promote the local area, support the community, and consolidate Brescia's cultural identity, starting from a particularly complex suburb.
