Palazzo Gaifami is one of those places that amazes without the need for special effects. Built in the mid-eighteenth century, it was created to celebrate a civic milestone and soon became one of the most important examples of secular pictorial decoration in Brescia.
THE PALACE
Inside, the rooms decorated by Carlo Innocenzo Carloni, together with some of the great quadraturists of the time, convey a clear idea: art as an expression of prestige, knowledge, and vision. The pictorial cycles guide visitors along a path of myths, allegories, and luminous atmospheres, without ever feeling distant.
Palazzo Gaifami is a space to walk through, to look up at, and to experience slowly. A perfect example of how Brescia preserves its heritage with discretion, allowing beauty itself to speak.
