THE PALACE

Facchi Palace is an elegant historic residence built in the 18th century at the behest of the Lanza family. Its large frescoed rooms take visitors on a journey through the 18th and 19th centuries, where styles and atmospheres intertwine naturally.

The entrance surprises with its majestic grand staircase, renovated in the 19th century by Brescian architect Antonio Tagliaferri. The wall paintings by Traini and Cresseri accompany the ascent, culminating in the imposing central fresco with the figures of Glory and Fame: a visual manifesto of prestige and identity.

The main floor still features the original furnishings designed by Tagliaferri, whose architectural drawings are still visible in the first Green Room. From here, you can access the heart of the residence: the Grand Hall of Honor, dominated by a six-meter-high 16th-century fireplace with marble lions and stucco decorations. In the center is the coat of arms with the initials of the Facchi family.

The Murano glass chandelier illuminates the original 19th-century furniture. In the adjoining rooms, we return to the 18th century: the Green Library, with its antique volumes, and the Pink Room, with its red sitting room, gilded ornaments, and white marble fireplace. Here you will also find portraits of the Facchi family by Brescian artists such as Bertolotti.

The tour ends in the dining room, with its characteristic frescoed wooden coffered ceiling.
