Since 1972, the Engraving Gallery has been a solid presence in the Brescia cultural scene. A place that built its identity starting from twentieth-century European graphics, opening up over time to painting, sculpture, and photography, without ever losing rigor and curiosity.
THE GALLERY
Fundamental artists of European visual culture have passed through here, often when they were still little known in Italy. The gallery had the courage to anticipate and propose and it is in this spirit that it has hosted, for example, exhibitions dedicated to Japanese woodcut.
Visiting the Engraving Gallery means entering a space that knows history but is not a prisoner of it. A place where the past dialogues with the present and where art remains a living thing, to be looked at carefully and without haste.
