There’s a cinema, at Via Nino Bixio 9 in Brescia, which has never stopped evolving. Cinema Nuovo Eden, a space managed by the Fondazione Brescia Musei, is much more than just a movie theatre: it’s the go-to place for those who love real cinema, the kind that tells stories, that challenges us, that raises questions.

With its major restyling completed in 2023, the Nuovo Eden has raised the bar. Two auditoriums, one large and one more intimate, with digital projectors, refurbished seating, audio systems for those with hearing difficulties, and a focus on energy efficiency. All designed to offer an experience that respects those who watch, those who listen and those who dream.
The Cinema Nuovo Eden is home to independent films, retrospectives, restored classics, meetings with directors, critics, workshops and festivals. It promotes learning, dialogue, and participation. And when summer comes, it heads outdoors: “L’Eden d’estate”, or Summer Eden, brings cinema to the Viridarium of the Santa Giulia Museum, amidst greenery, starry skies and post-movie discussions.
The Cinema Nuovo Eden is also committed to accessibility. It’s barrier-free, has assistive listening devices, reserved seats for people with disabilities, and differentiated prices to make cinema more accessible to all.
