On one side of Piazzale della Stazione, the Bike Station is a reference point for those who live the city on two wheels. Open every day, 24 hours a day, it welcomes bicycles and scooters without interruption.
Two floors, 423 bikes and 8 scooters: spaces designed for free movement, with the peace of mind of constant video surveillance. Here the city invites you to pedal: next to the Bicimia bike sharing, you will find traditional bicycle rentals, to start whenever you want.
To enter, you need the Park&Bike Card: a small pass that simplifies everything, replacing the old card and allowing you to load the subscription for your stay. If you already have the card, just update the subscription; otherwise, you can replace the old card directly on site.
And for those who only pass by occasionally, there is the points card issued at the Bike Station. The card costs €5 for issuance, plus €1 for every 4 points loaded and is rechargeable at the automatic cashier.
To use the Bike Station, you can choose between two options:
- Monthly subscription, for those who use the Bike Station daily;
- Points Card, ideal for occasional use: it is loaded with 16 points and deducts one at entry and one at exit.
The Bike Station is divided into two levels: the lower level is reserved for subscribers, while the upper level is dedicated to Points Card holders.
The card and subscription can be requested directly from the Bike Station operators. Once activated, you can enter and exit independently. If the operator is not present, those using the Points Card simply need to ring the gate: the remote control room, active 24 hours a day, will open the access.
Bicycle rental service is also available, exclusively during the operator's presence hours. There are 30 bicycles, all equipped with lights, and 20 helmets. No card is needed: just leave a deposit and present an ID. The cost is €2 for half a day and €4 for the whole day.
If you use a cargo bike, the maximum width is 90 cm to allow passage through the entrance gate.
