A new production by Luigi Martelletta for the Almatanz Company, which reinterprets one of ballet’s great masterpieces through a contemporary lens.
The choreography loosens the strictest conventions of tradition to create a more direct and dynamic language, without sacrificing the iconic elements: the swans, the pas de deux, and the character dances.
A work that starts from the classical tradition and moves towards the present, placing emotion, rhythm and theatrical authenticity at its heart.
