THE PIANO TRADITION CONNECTING TWO CITIES

For over fifty years, Brescia and Bergamo have hosted the best of the international piano scene, welcoming instrumentalists, singers, conductors and orchestras from all over the world.

THE FESTIVAL

Launched in 1964, the International Piano Festival brings to the city a highly prestigious event with the time and space to explore in depth a given author, era or cultural milieu in order to showcase their most significant aspects: the event, in fact, is distinguished by its unique thematic approach that allows it to renew itself with each edition, successfully interweaving a classical repertoire and contemporary music.

Moreover, since 2014, the Festival has been able to count on an orchestra in residence, which also represents an important investment in the training of talented young local musicians, giving them the chance to rub shoulders with pianists of the highest calibre and to benefit from extraordinary artistic experiences.
