Fantozzi returns to the stage as an eternal mask of our collective imagination. Directed by Davide Livermore, the universe created by Paolo Villaggio takes on the contours of a modern tragedy: grotesque, ferocious, inevitable. Opportunism, humiliation, social climbing, and defeat intertwine in a story that has changed the language and the way we look at ourselves. On stage, Gianni Fantoni, Villaggio's longtime companion, picks up the baton.
