Brescia is changing pace. And it’s doing so on two wheels.

Two days to cycle, discover the city and truly experience it: simpler, more liveable, more European.

It’s not just a slogan. It’s a choice.

On Saturday 9 May, we set off from schools and take to the streets: Critical Mass, Ciclocinema, energy in motion.

Sunday 10 May, the city breathes: it’s Eco Sunday, with buses and the metro on a single-ticket system and the city centre car-free.

The festivities are everywhere: BiciCheck and free repairs, entertainment, live music, a cargo bike challenge, readings, games for girls and boys, and bike tours to discover even the city’s lesser-known corners. And then there are talks, meetings and Piazza della Loggia, which stays lively all day long.

Behind it all is BiciBrescia: five years of collaborative work to make cycling the norm. Everyday. Possible.
