Sara Persico and Mika Oki present an immersive audiovisual experience that combines light, images and sound. The project stems from the album Sphaîra, built around ambient recordings made in the experimental theatre in Tripoli designed by Oscar Niemeyer, where the sounds of the city blend with deep, layered resonances.
On stage, abstract and fractal images interact with a dense, enveloping light design, whilst the soundscape guides the audience into a suspended space, between inner perception and external stimuli.
The performance features strobe or flashing lights, stage smoke and/or low lighting, and loud or sudden sounds.
