Liberty – The Art of Modern Italy

Jan 24 – Jun 14 2026
Martinengo Cesaresco Palace
Via dei Musei, 30 - Brescia BS
Associazione amici di Palazzo Martinengo
Organizer

From 24 January 2026, Palazzo Martinengo opens its doors to a unique exhibition dedicated to Liberty, the style that shaped modern Italy between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
On display are over one hundred masterpieces, many of them shown to the public for the first time, drawn from private collections and major institutions such as the Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome, the Galleria Nazionale of Parma, and the Civic Museums of Udine.
A surprising journey through painting, sculpture, fashion, advertising, photography, applied arts and cinema, revealing how art changed the way we see the world.
For schools: dedicated thematic itineraries.
Curated by Manuel Carrera, Davide Dotti and Anna Villari.
