On the occasion of the bicentenary of the discovery of the bronze hoard of the Capitolium of Brescia, a previously unseen work has been unveiled. The artist Francesco Vezzoli has created an installation designed to bring the Winged Victory into dialogue with the Idolino of Pesaro, on loan from the National Archaeological Museum of Florence. The result is a comparison between the two works that invites reflection on the human desire for transcendence and fulfillment, through an interweaving of the classical ideal of measure and beauty with Victory, the embodiment of shared success.
