A meeting between Nō theater, jazz, and creativity, in the name of Leonardo. The Yamamoto Noh Theater from Osaka arrives for the first time on tour in Italy at the Teatro Sociale, along with the Kurage Band directed by Sachiko Nakajima. The evening puts one of the oldest Japanese theatrical forms in dialogue with the sounds of contemporary jazz. The first part is dedicated to Shōjō, a title from the classic Nō repertoire, while the second presents a new creation inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. Dance, singing, acting, and music thus build a bridge between Japan and Italy, tradition and future, art and knowledge.
