In the Viridarium of the Santa Giulia Museum, "Strike", the first feature film by Sergei Eisenstein, returns to the big screen with a live soundtrack performed by an ensemble of musicians from jazz, experimental rock, electronic, and contemporary music.
The film, shot in a real factory and constructed through daring montages, symbolic images, and disorienting perspectives, tells the story of a workers' community uprising, transforming it into a visual work that is still powerful and surprisingly modern today.
