Piani di Scavo is an immersive listening experience that combines audio narration and urban exploration. The event takes the form of a listening session with headphones that leads the audience on a walk from the MO.CA courtyard to the Canton Mombello Gardens, transforming the city space into an integral part of the experience.
The project recounts the attempted escape from Favignana prison in 1975 through the testimony of one of the inmates involved. Between memory, ingenuity and narrative tension, the story invites reflection on the conditions of imprisonment and the meaning of freedom.
At the end of the walk, there will be a talk entitled “Canton Mombello in chiaroscuro” with Marco Dotti, dedicated to the theme of prison and the paths to social reintegration.
