In 1925, Pirandello made his debut, supported by Mussolini and the regime, at the Odescalchi in Rome with “La Sagra del Signore della Nave”. An innovative one-act play, in which he introduces scenic effects and a new relationship with space and characters. Today, over a century later, this show becomes an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between art and power, and on the importance of freedom in art.
