The “Inverno al Gallo” festival draws to a close in Brescia with an event dedicated to literature and a fresh take on the classics. The focus of the event is Margaret Atwood’s *The Song of Penelope*, presented by Helena Como in conversation with Giancarlo Covella.
The book gives a voice to Penelope, a central figure in Homeric myth, who tells her own version of the story, breaking free from silence and convention. A narrative that overturns the traditional perspective, exploring memory, identity and new questions about the role of women in the great myths.
