On the border between organic and inorganic, between life and non-life, “The cries and lamentations of fossil fish” is a performance that traverses deep time. On stage, the dancers' bodies explore the relationship through two primary elements: skin, a membrane that connects the internal and external, and air, traversed by the voice and transformed into shared space.
