From June 16, 2026, to April 4, 2027, the Santa Giulia Museum hosts the first major site-specific monographic exhibition dedicated to Franca Ghitti, one of the most significant figures in contemporary Italian art.
The exhibition connects the works of the Camuna artist with the museum's permanent collection, creating a new dialogue between contemporary sculpture, archaeological artifacts, and historical testimonies spanning the Roman, Lombard, medieval, and Renaissance periods. Wood, nails, reclaimed materials, and signs become tools to narrate the memory of communities, work, daily gestures, and the identities of territories.
An immersive journey that guides the visitor through the cloisters, exhibition halls, and monumental spaces of the Santa Giulia complex, discovering an artistic language capable of transforming matter into collective storytelling.
