The 63° Festival opens with an exceptional concert. On stage is the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Eduard Topchjan, with Eva Gevorgyan on piano.
The program features the epic power of Khachaturyan (Suite from Spartacus), the sweeping lyricism of Tchaikovsky's Concerto No. 1, and the depth of Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10.
