Just a stone’s throw from the city centre, the "Brescia Museum of Historic Cars 1927–1957"celebrates the legend of the famous Italian race in a unique setting: the monastic complex of Sant’Eufemia, transformed into a modern and fascinating exhibition space.

THE MUSEUM
Inaugurated in 2004 by the Associazione Museo della Mille Miglia, strongly supported by a group of Brescia entrepreneurs passionate about the race, the Museum is much more than an archive: it is a journey through time, engines, stories and great emotions.
The cars on display, many of which come from private collections or prestigious international museums, are showcased in evocative settings designed to recreate the distinctive atmospheres of the different eras spanned by the Mille Miglia. Every car tells a story, and every story celebrates a facet of Italy’s 20th-century sporting, cultural and technological heritage.
In addition to the cars, the Museum also houses the Mille Miglia Historical Archive: a collection of over 130,000 digitised documents including entry forms, correspondence, rankings, press reviews and the famous numeri unici. It is a valuable resource for researchers and enthusiasts, but also a powerful tool that allows visitors to dive into an immersive experience among legends and behind-the-scenes tales of one of the most iconic events in the history of Italian motoring.
