Mille Miglia

The Mille Miglia returns to Brescia in 2026 with its 44th historic re-enactment. Five days of racing, from 9 to 13 June, and an “eight-shaped” route that looks back to its origins, passing through iconic landscapes, cities of art, mountain passes and UNESCO sites. Over 400 historic cars bring back to the road an idea of speed made up of elegance, ingenuity and courage. The Freccia Rossa is much more than a race: it is part of the city's identity. An event that attracts the whole world. An event that Brescia is proud of!

Tuesday, June 9 – Brescia → Padua
The race will start from Brescia late in the morning. The cars will climb through Valle Trompia and Valle Gobbia, with a stop in Lumezzane. After crossing Passo del Cavallo, the route will continue along Valle Sabbia and Lake Garda, pass through Vicenza, and end the first day in Padua.

Wednesday, June 10 – Padua → Montecatini Terme
The second stage will head west through Ferrara, Modena, and Reggio Emilia. After crossing the Abetone Pass, the day will finish among the Liberty-style buildings of Montecatini Terme.

Thursday, June 11 – Montecatini Terme → Rome
On the third day, the route will reach Versilia, passing through Pietrasanta, renowned for sculpture and contemporary art. After lunch in Siena’s iconic Piazza del Campo, the cars will continue past Lake Bolsena and Lake Vico before arriving in Rome, the traditional turning point of the race.

Friday, June 12 – Rome → Rimini
The route north will pass through Assisi, during the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis’ death, then continue to Gubbio for the lunch stop and through the spectacular Furlo Gorge. The stage will end in Rimini, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

Saturday, June 13 – Rimini → Brescia
The final day will take the cars through the salt flats of Cervia and Comacchio, then on to Ferrara, where the route will reconnect with the outbound leg. After a stop in Mantua, the race will return to Viale Venezia in Brescia, the historic starting and finishing point of the 1000 Miglia.
