In the Sala del Camino of Palazzo Martinengo delle Palle, Donatella Stasio's book “L'amore in gabbia" (Love in a Cage) is presented, a civil investigation into what happens, inside and outside prison, when people are denied the right to tenderness, intimacy, and the body. The work tells the story of Gianluca, who entered prison at seventeen, and the long journey to rebuild his life after his incarceration, coming to terms with what prison took away from him: time, body, and affection. Arianna Carminati and Carlo Alberto Romano will be in conversation with the author.
The meeting will be repeated, with the same participants and for university students, on Thursday, March 19 in Room 10 of the Law Department of the University of Brescia, at Corso Mameli 27.
