From June 26 to 28, Brescia hosts the first edition of AlbArt, the International Festival of Theater and Performing Arts conceived by director Valbona Xibri and organized by the ODA Cultural Center.
For three days, Spazio Lampo, Cascina Parco Gallo, and Spazio Mete become meeting places for artists, languages, identities, and different cultures. Performances, workshops, public meetings, and moments of discussion focus on the work of diaspora artists and pose a strong question: what does it mean to create art in a language different from one's own?
AlbArt brings to the city a new, international cultural offering rooted in the territory, transforming Brescia into a crossroads of theater, relationships, and participation.
