Once one of the most sumptuous residences of the 16th century, today it’s a treasure trove of stories, frescoes and refinement. The palace’s architecture itself speaks the language of elegance, but it’s inside that the real treasure is hidden.
THE SALA DELLE DAME
A masterpiece by Moretto and his workshop: six gracefully dressed ladies, oriental carpets, flowering plants, and a refined pavilion. Every detail denotes care, symbolism, a story. A small dog - symbolising loyalty - stands guard. Two figures looking out from a wall painted after 1543 discreetly close the scene.
