What happens to matter when it is pushed out of balance? A molecule transforms, a material changes properties, a discovery paves the way for new technologies. Anything can happen in an instant. A meeting to discover how, thanks to extremely brief light pulses, scientific research manages to observe and understand these transformations, from quantum materials to the molecules of life. A journey to explore the changes that traverse matter, to understand how the breaking of a balance can become the starting point for new knowledge and innovations.
