The European Heritage Days are back, the largest cultural event in Europe dedicated to the enhancement of cultural heritage promoted by the Council of Europe and the European Commission and coordinated in Italy by the Ministry of Culture. This year's edition is dedicated to the theme "Protecting Heritage. Renewing, Resisting, Reinventing," an invitation to reflect on the role of cultural heritage as a living resource to be safeguarded, enhanced, and passed on to future generations. For the occasion, the Queriniana Library offers a series of guided tours to discover one of the symbolic places of Brescia's culture. The tour takes the audience through the monumental spaces of the library, its precious book and documentary collections, and the history of its founder with a focus on the exhibition "Vittoria Alata 1826-2026."
