MO.CA Cinema inaugurates the programming of its cinema hall with an evening dedicated to Elvira Notari, the first female director of Italian cinema. The event opens with an aperitif and live music, followed by the screening of the documentary "Elvira Notari. Beyond the Silence" by Valerio Ciriaci. The film retraces the life and work of a pioneer of Italian cinema, from the silent films shot in the working-class neighborhoods of Naples to the long period of oblivion that marked her memory. Introducing the screening is Antonella Di Nocera, producer of the film and president of the Elvira Notari Committee of Naples.
